I realized a while back that just giving money to someone on the street corner was not a solution to the problem and was possibly contributing to their problems even more. So that is when I started donating to St. Mary’s Foodbank. I was impressed with St. Mary’s Food Banks ability to deliver 7 meals for every $1. I feel that I have been fortunate in life and feel that as a member of society, I need to try and help those in need.
