Recently, we met a hard-working, single mom named Madelyne. She works 10 hour days, full-time, in a warehouse and is raising her two children alone. We chatted with her when she visited our Surprise location with her son, Diego.
“Everything is more expensive at the stores and minimum wage is not going up. With the food I get from St. Mary’s, I can feed my children. I’m thankful I can pack my daughter’s lunch for her every morning,” she said.
