I was blessed this year to be able to do some Qualified Charitable Distributions and St. Mary’s was one of the 3 organizations that I chose to be recipients. I have long preferred to give donations that will directly meet needs in the local and global communities and food banks certainly fit that bill. I have been fortunate to not need the services myself of a food bank, but am thankful to be able to serve others in this way.
